Programın Amacı ve İçeriği:

Bu yaz programı, lise öğrencilerini üniversite matematiğiyle tanıştırmayı ve üniversite düzeyine geçişi kolaylaştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Program, temel kavramları uygulamalarla ilişkilendirerek öğrencilerin matematiksel düşünme, muhakeme ve eleştirel bakış becerilerini geliştirmeyi hedefler.

The “ Foundations to Applications: Mathematics in Action” program offers high school students a progressive and engaging introduction to universitylevel mathematics. Through carefully designed courses that combine theoretical rigor with concrete applications, participants will explore how mathematical tools— ranging from logic and proof methods to linear algebra and set theory— structure modern scientific thinking and find applications across a wide range of disciplines. Whether students are passionate about mathematics, interested in the life sciences or engineering, or simply eager to explore new ideas, this program provides a supportive yet academically demanding environment to develop reasoning skills, deepen understanding, and broaden intellectual horizons. Supervised by faculty members of Galatasaray University, the program serves as a genuine bridge between high school and university education, fostering intellectual autonomy, critical thinking, and an appreciation for scientific inquiry.
